When you don’t have children, eating at a Tenerife Restaurant with kids screaming and crying all over the place quickly becomes annoying. However, as you become a parent, finding a suitable place to eat with your children becomes more of a priority.

I’m happy to say that without exception, every restaurant I’ve visited has (luckily) been very courteous to our children, and in some cases, go out of their way to be helpful, offering special unlisted meals, grabbing cushions frm somewhere to boost the seat up a bit, and even making them laugh inbetween courses!

There is a fine selection of Restaurants in Tenerife - whether you’re after a simple selection of fast food style snacks, or a full a la carte meal.

There are several Burger Kings and McDonalds dotted around the Island, should you be in need of a hamburger quick fix, along with some KFC like places where you can enjoy deep fried Chicken.

For sit down meals in Tenerife, you may at first be overwhelmed by the selection on offer. Italian restaurants in Tenerife, Canarian, French, German, Chinese, you name it - we have it!

Some of my favourites are the Italian Restaurant in Tenerife called Bianco’s, which offers unrivalled service, and delightful food, all without straining the budget, which can only be a good thing.

I also like the Little Italy chain of Tenerife Restaurants, purely because the food is delicious no matter which one you visit, and the staff have always been nothing short of courteous on my many visits.

Wherever you go in Tenerife, there is sure to be a specific restaurant that appeals to you, so why not visit our site and add a review for places you’ve visited? Because Tenerife is such a small Island, and has so many different places to eat, the importance of getting a visitors first visit right cannot be stressed enough. With the amount of review sites springing up on the internet, if you as much as get one thing wrong, not only will they then tell their friends, but chances are pretty good that they will also give negative comments about your restaurant on the internet too.

The amount of PR’s outside Restaurants in Tenerife, mainly in places such as Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos, is shocking. You can barely walk a few feet without being accosted by someone trying to badger you into coming into their restaurant!

Tenerife restaurants are a variety of culinary delights. On one hand, you have the typical Canarian food choices (Canarian Potatoes with ‘Mojo Picón (pronounced Mo Ho)’ sauce, for example) - then at the other end of the spectrum, you have McDonalds, Burger King and the other fast food chains. Location: Puerto Santiago, opposite the Hotel Barcelo, and above The Outside Inn. If you know where Tamaimo Tropical is, then you’re in the right place.
Opening Times: From 7pm weekdays, all day weekends.

Terming itself as a ‘British Sports Bar’, from the outside it is quite well hidden. Once you notice the menu on the wall though (walk past Route 66 and the walkway up to Francy’s Bar), you will see a smallish sign that directs you to walk ‘up the ramp and round to the right’. Follow these instructions and you’ll reach the bar.

We were very pleasantly surprised!

They have a massive menu for such a small bar, and the food is absolutely gorgeous. I have rarely eaten in many other ‘British’ bars that can match this one for the freshness of food and the taste too.

I had some Shami Kebabs, followed by a Turkey, Stuffing and Cranberry Panini. My wife had Onion Bhajis followed by a Garlic Butter, Cheese and Tomato Panini.

We were both knocked out by how nice the food itself was. We would definitely visit here again.

The bar itself has several televisions, including a large on in the middle, an outside area, and shows all major sporting events. If there is no one watching any of the events in the bar, they are more than willing to switch over to what you would like to watch (as an example, my wife wanted to watch Big Brother - they switched it straight over for us!).

We’ve been to the Bianco’s in Plaza Del Duque twice - and both times it was fantastic.

The service was brilliant, and the food tastes better (if thats possible) than the one in Safari Centre - although that isn’t to say the food in the one in CC Safari is bad, by any means. (more…)

I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago, whilst some relatives were here on holiday. We were out shopping and generally sightseeing, and decided to stop somewhere for lunch, and chose this restaurant based solely on it’s looks.

As said elsewhere in this blog, we visit the Little Italy in Los Gigantes on a regular basis, but we know from visiting other restuarants bearing the Little Italy name that experience differs between restaurants. (more…)

Little Italy is a well known chain here in Tenerife. However, the standard of food and service differs from each individual restaurant within the chain.

I visit the one in Los Gigantes a lot, for the simple fact that the service and the food is delightful every single time. (more…)

I visited this charming restaurant on Thursday night, for a birthday party for one of my wife’s work colleagues.

We had dined here once before, about a year ago, but this time the whole of the top terrace had been rented for a barbecue meal. (more…)
