Little Italy, Los Cristianos

I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago, whilst some relatives were here on holiday. We were out shopping and generally sightseeing, and decided to stop somewhere for lunch, and chose this restaurant based solely on it’s looks.

As said elsewhere in this blog, we visit the Little Italy in Los Gigantes on a regular basis, but we know from visiting other restuarants bearing the Little Italy name that experience differs between restaurants. We were pleasantly suprised.

The restaurant itself is in the heart of the pedestrianised shopping precinct in Los Cristianos, and as such, we were expecting it to have a commercial feel about it, cheap and cheerful meals, served quickly, with the minimum of fuss. We couldn’t have been more wrong.

From the attitude of the staff when we first walked in, right up to paying the bill, everything was to a very high standard. My relatives had fish dishes, and I had a 16oz steak. Being fish aficionados as it were, my relatives were in an excellent position to comment on how nice the dishes they ordered were. Both agreed that they were fantastic and that they would definitely visit the restaurant again.

My steak was breathtaking. I expected a large steak, but it was behemoth like when it arrived on my plate, and was cooked expertly.

All in all, we totally enjoyed our meal here, and would have no problems reccomending it to anyone else that visits Los Cristianos. I even went as far as to visit the kitchen and complement the chef (something I very rarely, if at all, do).
